Winners for Melbourne 2010 Announced!


Congratulations!

Launched in Sydney 2006 and held twice a year, DEBUT at FASHION EXPOSED is Australia’s hottest stage for new and emerging fashion and accessory designers from Australia and New Zealand.


We take great delight in announcing the winners of the Melbourne 2010 event:

Accessory Award:
Afterglow Jewellery – Charms Baltis and Ben Neich (NSW)

Apparel Award:
Francz – Geoffrey Haining (VIC)

Influenced by 15th Century witch trials, WWII, Architecture and grand spaces, Autumn/Winter 2011 will keep us warm in slim waisted trousers, deep pleats, capes, corsetry, long dresses in the most sensuous natural and sustainable fabrics and leathers. A very promising new generation of Debut labels bring hidden treasures, secrets and a touch of space travel.

A stand-alone feature since Sydney 2010, the Avant Garde Gallery features the most flamboyant and spectacular costume and couture designs from the most talented fashion design students across the country and from New Zealand.
