Keeping it real: runway looks edited

FASHION EXPOSED has added to its schedule of fashion events with a new feature showing attendees how to commercialise the latest trends.

Dubbed ‘Runway to Reality’ this latest addition to the trade fair’s fashion events line-up puts high profile industry experts at centre stage as they reveal the latest in successful tricks of the trade.

hot_halfhoursParticipants in what promises to be one of FASHION EXPOSED’s most “hands on” fashion events will learn how to make the new season’s trends work for their customers as well as gleaning tips on dressing windows and making the most of their retail space.

Meanwhile other fashion events such as the renowned Hot Half Hours will make a welcome return to the upcoming FASHION EXPOSED. Presented by the Australian Retailers Association, these free training-oriented fashion events presented by key industry figures are designed to increase profits and grow retail business.

The three day program offers a sequenced flow of half hour sessions, divided into two subject areas of Retail Sales and Service and Managing Retail Options. The ARA Hot Half Hour cover topics including: buying profitably, planning store layout to maximise sales, the value of building relationships with customers and recruiting the right team.

LLBEach of these expert retail fashion events offers great value to both company owners and employees wanting to create an edge and an understanding of the value of their role in the Australian retail industry.

Another favourite in the trade fair’s fashion events, the Live Look Books comprise exciting, rapid-fire on floor salon shows presenting new season ranges. Combine the intimacy of a salon-style floor show with sharp commentary and great styling and music, and the result is a Live Look Book, one of the most popular attractions at the upcoming FASHION EXPOSED & preview, from 14-16 February 2010, at The Sydney Exhibition Centre.
