Aleida Harger – Louche – Stand 3824
Louche is sexiness, decadence and discreet entertainment. It is the creation of New Zealand born designer Aleida Harger, an adventurer who studied at London College of Fashion and has lived and worked in New York, and LA.
Aleida describes the label as ‘feminine with an edge,’ It is a label for women who appreciate special things and understand good quality fabrics and make.
Aleida moved to Hong Kong to access the special washing and 3000-year old handwork techniques found in Asian embroidery and the
natural and exotic fabrics available to her in China. All the prints and fabrics are made and dyed in this part of the world. The pieces are mostly silk, silk cotton or silk linen blends with a focus on handwork detail. Aleida says, “Louche is the collective spirit of the countries I have lived in and a reflection of the arty, eclectic and casual sophistication of the women who wear it.”
