1. What is going on at the fair?
Fashion Exposed
Fashion Exposed will be returning to Sydney from 12-14 February 2012 to showcase Spring/Summer and transeasonal collections in its
usual sophisticated style. Attracting 500+ exhibitors and
thousands of visitors Fashion Exposed Sydney incorporates the
co-located Bags
& Accessories Fair and the Australian Shoe Fair as well as a range of specialty feature areas.

2. Who can attend?
Fashion Exposed is a Trade Only Event. Entry is restricted to bonafide members of the fashion & accessories industry and over the age of 16. Business ID may be required upon entry eg. Business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification.
Those not involved in the fashion & accessories industry will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is not permitted. No photography or sketching permitted.
3. How much does it cost to attend?
Once registered as a bone fide trade visitor, attendance is free. Register to visit online

Sunday 12 February 2012 10am – 6pm
Monday 13 February 2012 9am – 5pm
Tuesday 14 February 2012 9am – 4pm
5. What sort of ranges will I see?
You will see thousands of new & well established labels of the broadest ranges including accessories, activewear, belts, bridal/eveningwear, boutique childrenswear, boutique womenswear, casual lifestylewear, childrenswear, classic & directional menswear, denim, eyewear, footwear, soft furnishings, handbags, hats, hosiery, infantwear, intimate apparel, jewellery, licensed apparel, luggage, retail services, sportswear, swimwear, resortwear, ties and womenswear.

6. Do I need to register to attend as a visitor?
Yes, all visitors must register if they are wanting to attend the trade fair. You may register online or you can register by completing the registration form attached to the Trade Invitations.
Trade Invitations will be available from December 2011. Alternatively you can register for the trade fair when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION Visitor Access Cards from previous fairs do not permit access to February 2012. You will need to register for valid entry to the Sydney fair.
7. What happens when I register?
If you register online you will receive an emailed confirmation that gives you a summary of your registered details as well as your registration identification number. Print your confirmation and bring it with you to the fair to collect your Visitor Access Card from the e-Badge counter upon arrival.
If you fax us your registration – your registration will be processed and you will receive an confirmation which you need to bring with you to the fair to collect your Visitor Access Card.
Visitor Access Cards will NOT BE MAILED for 2012. All Visitor Access Cards will need to be collected from the registration desk located near the entrance to the trade fair.
Note that the Organiser reserves the right to cancel invalid registrations to ensure that entry is limited to bonafide trade visitors.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION Visitor Access Cards from previous fairs do not permit access to February 2012. You will need to register to receive a Visitor Access Card valid for the Sydney fair.
8. Can I change my registration details or check my details?
Yes, if you need to check what details have been registered please telephone us on 03 8672 1200. Your registration can also be altered onsite at the registration desk at the entrance to the fair.
9. When can I expect my Visitor Access Card?
Visitor Access Cards will NOT be mailed.
You will need to bring your registration confirmation and business identification with you to collect your Visitor Access Card from the registration counter at the fair.
Visitor Access Cards from previous fairs are not valid for the Sydney 2012 fair.
10. Can I still attend if I have not registered before arriving?
Yes, you are welcome to register at the onsite registration counter at the entrance to the fair. We recommend to pre-register to save you time. All registrations will require business identification.
11. What do I need to bring as business identification?
Relevant identification includes: business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification.
12. Can students attend?
Final year Students enrolled in fashion studies at a tertiary level may attend the fair after 1.00pm on Tuesday 14 February only. Students are not required to register. Course Administrators must apply in writing to the Organiser prior to the event in order to bring class groups to the fair. Email fashion@aec.net.au. Student badges are issued onsite from the Registration Desk.
13. Can I bring my family to have a look?
No. As this is a business event, entry is restricted to persons involved in the fashion industry and over the age of 16.
14. Are there child-minding facilities?
No, these facilities are not available at the venue
15. Where is the fair being held and how do I get there?
Fashion Exposed is being held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.

16. Are there special travel packages available?

17. Do I need a Visa to visit Australia?
Most International visitors to Australia will require a Visa to enter the country. For Government details on Visas visit Australian Government Immigration site at www.immi.gov.au. Remember if you need to make a Visa Application make sure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.
18. How many exhibitors are there?
There will be more than 500 exhibitors from Australia and New Zealand showcasing the latest collections.
