Debut, run as part of the Fashion Exposed trade fair, has unveiled an impressive lineup of finalists for the upcoming Sydney 2012 competition. A launch pad for over 135 young Australian labels, Debut’s past winners include now established brands Alexi Freeman, Limedrop, Trimapee, Subfusco and Since Grey.

Fashion Exposed's highly anticipated design awards program, Debut, has unveiled an impressive line up of finalists for the upcoming Melbourne 2011 competition.
Since its inception in 2006, Debut has been the launch pad for over 130 young Australian labels, many of which are now well known within the highly competitive fashion industry. Names such as Alexi Freeman, Donna Sgro, Trimapee, Subfusco and Holly Chalmers are just some of the now well know designers who have taken part in Debut over the years.

Providing retailers with a unique buying experience, Fashion Exposed and new trade show Premiere did not disappoint this season. Fashion Exposed delivered up to the minute collections and an action packed schedule of salon shows, industry initiatives and free business seminars whilst the launch of Premiere was received with much anticipated excitement.
Attracting over 7,000 visitors, Fashion Exposed provided buyers from across Australasia with access to over 1,500 labels covering menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, streetwear, lingerie and much more. With an array of new companies sitting alongside the industry regulars, there was an abundance of product to choose from for the Spring Summer 2012 season.
