What do technology and tarot cards have to do with fashion?  Interestingly, it’s about gathering business information to gain clarity on the past and present.  Communicating with your existing and potential customers.  Trusting your intuition and optimising data through digital channels to increase business growth. This is a technology session delivered in a very non-tech way. Saskia will delve into areas such as factors driving change, consumer trends and emerging solutions while linking back to everyday business strategies and tasks.

DAY TWO - MONDAY 3 FEBRUARY 2020

11:00am - 11:45am
People buy from people. Where are YOU in your business?
Fiona Killackey, Founder, My Daily Business Coach & MDBC Consulting

3.png

How much of yourself should you put into your brand, when it comes to marketing it? In this talk you'll learn what 'humanising you business' really means. It's said that people buy from people, but for many small business owners putting your own face out there, or talking about things outside of the products / services you offer can feel daunting.

Figurehead marketing is one of the best ways to market your business, but for most it's not even a part of their marketing strategy. Think about the brands you love most, many of them have a real person / team behind them that are part of the appeal. In this session you'll learn how you can add more 'humanity' into your marketing (without 24/7 selfies) and how this can positively impact your audience and sales.
